KINGSTON, Jamaica: The National Housing Trust, NHT acknowledges the varying degrees of damage suffered by our mortgagors during the passage of Hurricane Beryl.

The National Housing Trust (NHT) has commenced receiving applications for the disaster relief facilities set up to assist contributors affected during the passage of Hurricane Beryl. Applications must be made by September 30, 2024.

The facilities include a special loan arrangement to effect repairs to damaged homes and a grant of up to $300,000. A special moratorium is also available to existing NHT mortgagors who are having difficulties meeting their mortgage payments at this time, as a result of the hurricane.

'We are ready to partner' was the resounding confirmation from the scores of diasporans who converged at the National Housing Trust, NHT, 'Come Build with Us' presentation at the recently held 10th Biennial Diaspora Conference at the Montego Bay Convention Centre.

The National Housing Trust, NHT wishes to advise the public regarding a set of fictitious communication being circulated, purporting to be from senior managers and staff of the Trust.

The National Housing Trust, NHT, are winners of the inaugural Public Sector Productivity Competition. The announcement was made at an awards ceremony, on Friday June 21, 2024. 

The competition, which was organised by the Jamaica Productivity Centre (JPC), through the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, was geared towards encouraging public bodies to implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and service delivery.
