The National Housing Trust (NHT) has increased the number of partner mortgage institutions through which qualified contributors can access their NHT mortgage benefits.

The National Housing Trust, NHT, has made improvements to the Housing Microfinance Loan Programme which allows contributors to access financing from approved credit unions towards a wide range of housing related expenses.

The changes which took effect Monday September 25, 2023 include an increase to the facility's maximum loan limit and qualifying wage ceilings.

The National Housing Trust (NHT), acknowledges that some of our customers may have experienced delays in accessing some in-branch services today. The Trust also wishes to extend an apology to these customers for any inconvenience caused. This, as a significant number of our employees, called in sick today.

The beginning of June should see residents and homeowners making the necessary preparations in the event of a storm, ensuring the safety of their families and their homes.  June 1- November 30 is recognised as the Atlantic Hurricane Season. With this in mind, the National Housing Trust (NHT) is advising its mortgagors to stay current with their peril insurance payments, protecting one of their most valuable assets, their home.
