Prime Minister the Most Honourable Andrew Holness ON, PC, has praised the National Housing Trust (NHT) for playing a critical role in the creation of intergenerational wealth on the island. This he said during the NHT's handing over ceremony of Friendship Oaks in Goshen, St Elizabeth on Friday (May 17).
Young Jamaicans represented the majority of recipients of keys and letters of possession for land during the National Housing Trust's (NHT) combined handover ceremony for Hummingbird Meadows Phases 1&2 and Monymusk Country Estate Phase 2, Clarendon on Friday ( November 10).
The handing over of the keys and letters of possession, was led by Prime Minister, the Most Hon. Andrew Holness.
'No is not never. Just keep trying.'
Those were the sentiments expressed by Sherry-Ann Pryce, one of the newest homeowners at the NHT's Hummingbird Meadows (Phase 2) located in Clarendon.
The 33-year-old said it was her seventh time applying for one of the NHT's units, but she had hope and confidence that the seventh time would be her breakthrough because, after all, 'seven is God's perfect number.'
